Hawai'i receives FHLB affordable housing grants

Hawai'i affordable housing projects will be among those receiving $3.07 million in grants from the Federal Home Loan Bank of Seattle.The bank said the grants will go to projects here and in Idaho, Oregon, Utah and Washington with a total of 646 affordable housing units. The housing will be made available to low-income households, including first-time homebuyers, the homeless and people affected by disabilities, the bank said in a news release.
