Longs Drugs raises $1M for Make-A-Wish Foundation

Longs Drugs Stores Corp. said it has raised $1 million for the Make-A-Wish Foundation over the past two years, helping grant wishes for more than 150 children on the West Coast and in Hawai'i who have life-threatening medical conditions.During the past two years, Longs increased awareness for the nonprofit organization by inviting customers to purchase designated Make-A-Wish products.
Among some of the wishes granted were two trips to visit Disneyland from Honolulu and Wai'anae.
