Advertiser Staff
Alpine Air Express Inc., a Provo, Utah-based air cargo transport company, said revenue in the year ended Oct. 31, 2006, fell 9 percent to $20.2 million, in part because of reduced flights for the U.S. Postal Service to Hawai'i.The company said it's mail-service contract was modified for 2006 so that it flew less but earned more off of each flight. The company reported an annual profit in the 12-month period of $2.77 million. That compared with a year-earlier loss of $2.37 million.
