Hawaiian Airlines names Hoyt Zia new general counsel

Hawaiian Airlines on Thursday announced the appointment of Hoyt Zia as its new general counsel and corporate secretary.Zia, who also will serve as senior vice president for Hawaiian, will replace former city Corporation Counsel David Arakawa, who will join the Land Use Research Foundation of Hawaii. Zia's appointment is effective Feb. 19.
Zia was publisher of Hawaii Business magazine for the past three years and is a former attorney for the U.S. Department of Commerce.
