Hawai'i projects help Ameron Corp. earn record profit

Ameron International Corp. said profit climbed to $52.2 million in the year ended Nov. 30, 2006, helped by record sales and profit several of its units, including its Hawai'i operations.The Pasadena, California-based company said sales from continuing operations rose to $549.2 million. It said the Hawai'i division was the beneficiary of strong construction markets on O'ahu and Maui. Ameron Hawaii is one of the state's largest concrete producers.
