DCCA takes action against 45 state-licensed businesses

The Hawai'i Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs took disciplinary action against 45 state-licensed businesses and individuals during the final four months of 2006 for a variety of infractions.The businesses include 10 doctors, nine contractors, eight real estate brokers, seven nurses, five mechanics, three engineers, two mortgage brokers and one accountant.
The disciplinary actions ranged from fines of up to $54,720 to license revocation.
