Hawaiian Tel credit union members hit by e-mail scam

Advertiser Staff

Members of Hawaiian Tel Federal Credit Union are the target of a fraudulent e-mail that's circulating today. The so-called "phishing" e-mail offers people $100 to take a survey and links to a Web site where people are asked for personal information.

The credit union said it was aware of the bogus message and was working to get the fake site taken down.
