Elderly pedestrian struck near convention center

A woman, whose age is estimated to be in the late 60s or early 70s, is in serious condition at The Queen's Medical Center after being struck by a vehicle Friday morning near the Hawai'i Convention Center.The pedestrian was reportedly injured at 11:06 a.m. at 1646 Kona St., said Byran Cheplic, spokesman for Honolulu Emergency Services Department. No additional information was available.
