Advertiser Staff

A 23-year-old Waipahu man was arrested by police 8:20 p.m. Wednesday on Loa'a Street for questioning about a burglary that occurred about two hours earlier in Waipahu.

The man was identified by witnesses as the driver of a getaway vehicle. He was booked for first-degree burglary and is being held on $7,000 in outstanding warrants.

A second suspect, who witnesses reportedly saw carrying property out of the burglarized home to the vehicle, was still at large Thursday.
