Looking for a secret-message gift for your Valentine? Kailua jewelry designer Jessica Crabtree of Anjé Designs (www.anjedesigns.com) makes sterlingsilver and gold-filled bracelets and necklaces of chains holding discs that you can personalize. From now through Wednesday, you can place custom orders at Global Village (539 Kailua Road, 262-8183). Inscribe a name, a favorite surf spot, an astrological sign — anything, as long as it's seven characters or less. Choose multiple discs on a chain, multiple chains with one disc each — be creative.

Michael Kors' Island fever: Who knew New York fashion designer and "Project Runway" judge Michael Kors has the hots for Hawai'i? He has just released Island Michael Kors Hawaii — a fragrance inspired by the Islands.

"I manage to fit in a fair amount of island hopping during the year, but I always come back to Hawai'i as it's one of my very favorites. When you step off the plane the first thing you notice is the utterly indulgent, sexy, humid floral quality permeating the air — it overtakes you immediately," Kors said in a written statement.

He wanted to capture the essence of the Islands in a bottle. Jasmine, amber, citrus and pineapple are among the fragrance notes. It sells for $60 at Sephora Ala Moana.

Hawai'i Ballroom Dance Association Fashion Show: Hawai'i's ballroom dancers will become models for a day when they take to the runway for "A Fashion Extravaganza," 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 3 at the Japanese Cultural Center of Hawai'i. The Hawai'i Ballroom Dance Association's fundraiser will feature fashions from Attitude, Cache, Calista, Hale Niu and Tuxedo Junction. Tickets, $45 each, are on sale through Feb. 15. Call Margaret at 349-7200, Barbara at 423-7683 or the HBDA office at 848-7789.

Vera Wang lingerie at Kahala Mall: Best known for her spare, elegant wedding gowns, Vera Wang has been branching out with a line of home accessories, stemware, stationery and fragrance. She even designed a suite at the Halekulani.

Her latest addition is a lingerie collection featuring a variety of prints, colors and textures in chemises, robes and baby-doll sets priced from $68 to $100.

The line is being sold at Morgan Beret Fine Lingerie and Bed Linens in Kahala Mall.

Provencal on the Pacific: That purveyor of all things Provencal, L'Occitane, has just opened its first Waikiki boutique in the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center, makai of Bulgari and Ferragamo. Lavender, olive oil and shea butter are L'Occitane hallmarks.
