Sacred Hearts wins state Division II softball title

Kiane Dalit went 4-for-4 and scored two runs, and Joslyn Eugenio pitched a complete game, to help Sacred Hearts win the DataHouse Hawai'i High School Athletic Association Division II state softball championship with a 5-1 victory over Kaua'i tonight.

Sacred Hearts finished its season 9-8. Kaua'i finished 9-7.

In the game at Rainbow Wahine Softball Stadium, Eugenio allowed three hits, struck out three and walked none in seven innings.

The Lancers scored three runs (three hits) in the first and two (four hits) in the second.
