Kapolei takes OIA girls Division I soccer title

Kapolei sophomore forward Chelsea Swann scored with about a minute left in the second overtime to lift Kapolei to its first O'ahu Interscholastic Association championship.

Kapolei defeated Pearl City, 1-0, today at Kapolei High School.

Kapolei (11-2-3), Pearl City (11-2-2), Kalani, Mililani, Kaiser and Moanalua all advanced to next week's state tournament, which runs from Wednesday through Saturday.
