McLachlin makes the cut at PGA Tour's FBR Open

Former Honolulu resident Parker McLachlin made the cut in the PGA Tour's FBR Open after completing his round today.

Play was suspended because of darkness Friday with 18 players on the course. The players had to finish today before starting their third round.

McLachlin, a Punahou School alum, completed his round with a 1-under 70. His two-round total of 2-under 140 was just above the cut.

Another Hawai'i golfer, former Kane'ohe resident Dean Wilson, shot a 69 Friday and made the cut at 3-under 139.

Jeff Quinney, who completed his round Friday, lead the tournament going into today with a 13-under 129.

Billy Mayfair and Bart Bryant were three shots back at 10-under 132 after 66s Friday.

Charles Howell III, one of the 18 who had to complete their rounds today, is among a group of four at 9-under.
