Kahuku stuns Kalaheo, 43-42

Willie Ching made two free throws to break a 41-41 tie with less than a minute to play, lifting the visiting Kahuku Red Raiders to a 43-42 upset of third-ranked Kalaheo last night in an O'ahu Interscholastic Association Red East game.

Pat Au, who led the Red Raiders with 12 points, had tied the score at 41 with a free throw.

Kahuku improved to 3-9. The Mustangs fell to 10-2.

Cliffton Pires scored 13 points and Cheynne Lishman 11 to lead Kalaheo.
