Power restored after car crash near Honokai Hale

Power has been restored too all residents after a one-vehicle crash this morning on Farrington Highway near La'aloa Street by the Honokai Hale subdivision caused a power failure in the area.

A HECO spokeswoman said power was restored to the last 30 customers at about 6:20 p.m.

A Chevrolet sports utility vehicle drifted off the west-bound lanes and took down a utility pole. No one was injured in the crash, which was reported at about 5:10 a.m.

Crews replaced the pole.

One right westbound lane is still shut down, which is slowing traffic somewhat. The lane should be open by about 9 p.m.
