Clear weather should remain through Wednesday

Advertiser Staff

The weather on this Superbowl Sunday should be delightful no matter who wins the big game, according to the National Weather Service.

A high pressure system has moved in over the state, bringing dry weather and light winds that should last at least to the middle of the new week, forecasters said.

Another weather system will move on to Kaua'i and O'ahu by Wednesday and stall over the Big Island by Thursday, bringing a return of the trade winds — and trade wind showers — for the second half of the week.
