Firefighters were called at 12:48 a.m. this morning to a fire at an automobile repair shop in Iwilei.
Fire Capt. Terry Seelig said responding engine companies arrived at 546 Ka'a'ahi Street and had the fire under control within minutes.
"Apparently, there was a lot of smoke and very little flame," Seelig said.
There was no immediate word on what caused the fire or an estimate on the dollar amount of damage done to the building and its contents.
