Advertiser Staff

The number of scheduled, nonstop air seats to Hawai'i from February to April is expected to be up 1 percent compared to the same time last year, according to an analysis by the state Department of Business, Economic Development and Tourism.

The state forecasts Mainland air seats to be down slightly by 0.7 percent, with a nearly 16 percent drop in seats from the U.S. East. International air seats, however, are expected to be up 5.3 percent. Air seats from Japan are up 4.7 percent, and seats from Canada are up 12 percent.
