Dry weather, light winds tease Isles ahead of cold front

Dry weather and light winds will continue until late tomorrow night when a cold front approaching from the northwest reaches Kaua'i, a National Weather Service forecaster said.

The cold front will move slowly southeastward and stall over the Big Island on Thursday or Friday.

Today will be sunny with highs of 71 to 78, south winds around 10 mph.

Tonight: Mostly clear. Lows 59 to 66. South winds 10 mph to 15 mph.

Tomorrow: Mostly sunny with isolated showers. Highs 72 to 80. South winds 10 mph to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

Tomorrow night: Mostly cloudy with scattered showers. Lows 61 to 68. Southwest winds 10 mph to 15 mph. Chance of rain 30 percent.

Wednesday: Partly sunny with scattered showers. Highs 70 to 77. Northwest winds around 10 mph. Chance of rain 50 percent.

Wednesday night: Mostly cloudy with scattered showers. Lows 58 to 65. North winds around 10 mph. Chance of rain 50 percent.
