Hawai'i Sports Hall of Fame induction tonight

The latest class of the Hawai'i Sports Hall of Fame will be inducted tonight at a banquet at Honolulu Country Club.

The new inductees are:

i Linda Fernandez, professional volleyball player;

i the late Tom Gentry, world champion speedboat racer;

i Richard Tom, Olympic bronze medalist in weightlifting;

i Donnis Thompson, former University of Hawai'i women's athletics director;

i the late Mark Tuinei, all-pro football player with the Dallas Cowboys.

The Hall of Fame has enshrined 104 since it was established in 1997.
