Noted Canadian artist John Greyson will speak at UH

Canadian video artist, filmmaker and writer John Greyson will give a public lecture at 5:30 p.m. Feb. 13 in the University of Hawai'i-Manoa Art Building Auditorium. He'll talk about the use of voice and opera in his work and that of others addressing AIDS.

Greyson will also hold "The Queen's Sore Throat," a public colloquium, at 3:30 p.m. on Feb. 21 in Kuykendall 410.

Not familiar with his work? You can see a free showing of Greyson's 1996 film "Lilies" on Feb. 13 at 5:30 p.m. in the

UH Art Building Auditorium.
