Vehicle hits woman, 84, walking along Kahuku highway

An 84-year-old woman is in serious condition at The Queen's Medical Center after being struck this afternoon by a passing car or truck along Kamehameha Highway in Kahuku near the former sugar mill, officials said.Honolulu Emergency Medical Services responded to the accident scene at about 12:20 p.m. and transported the woman to Queen's.
Family later identified the woman as Lillian Au.
