Nightwork on Nimitz-Ala Moana for resurfacing

Lanes will be closed in both directions on Nimitz Highway from Fort Street to Richards Street through Friday morning from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly, for pavement saw-cutting and trenching for the installation of street lighting and traffic signal conduits.

Other road projects around O'ahu:

Lanes will be closed along H-3

There will be pavement resurfacing work on the H-3 Freeway in both directions between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. at the following locations in Kane'ohe:

  • Outbound single lane closure from the Halekou Interchange to the Mokapu Interchange through Friday.

  • Inbound single lane closure from the Kailua Interchange to the Halekou Interchange through Friday.

  • Outbound Kane'ohe Bay Drive off-ramp will be closed Thursday.

    Farrington project continues in Waipahu

    Various lanes will be closed in both directions on Farrington Highway from Old Fort Weaver Road to Kamehameha Highway through Friday for pavement striping at these times:

  • Eastbound: 8:30 a.m. through 3 p.m.

  • Westbound: 7:30 a.m. through 3 p.m.

    Work continues near Crouching Lion

    Lanes will be closed on Kamehameha Highway between Waiahole Valley Road and Crouching Lion Inn in both directions through Friday from 8:30 a.m. through 3 p.m. for sign installation and guardrail work. Traffic will be contra-flowed in the remaining open lane.

    Pu'uloa project ongoing

    Lanes will be closed in both directions on Pu'uloa Road through Friday near the Salt Lake Boulevard intersection through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily, for traffic signal and utility work.

    Bikeway project continues near Pearl Harbor

    The right lane will be closed Kamehameha Highway (outbound) between Radford Drive and Halawa Drive through Friday, Feb. 9, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for bikeway and sidewalk construction.

    H-1 lane to close for tree trimming

    The right eastbound lane will be closed from 9:30 a.m. to 4 a.m. through Friday on the H-1 Freeway between Punchbowl Street and Palama Street for tree trimming and roadside maintenance work.
