Homelessness issues to be revisited

Gov. Linda Lingle is returning to the Leeward Coast on Thursday to talk about homelessness issues.Lingle addressed the community in June on the same topics. She'll be speaking from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Wai'anae District Park's multi-purpose room, 85-601 Farrington Highway. Lingle will discuss bringing together homeless advocates, service providers, faith-based organizations, lawmakers, community leaders, the private sector, military and state and county agencies to address the problem of homelessness on the Leeward Coast.
