ALOHA SECTION

Scholarship program: The Aloha Section PGA Foundation has started a Scholarship Program to encourage and promote the attainment of higher educational goals for high school seniors and current college students who have actively participated in golf and excelled in academics. The program awards one-year educational scholarships. Amount of the scholarships will be determined by availability of funds. The scholarship committee will review class ranking, grade point average and either ACT or SAT test scores, along with students' extracurricular activities. Applicants must be Hawai'i residents and demonstrate financial need. Special consideration will be given to those pursuing a degree in a golf-related field. Deadline to submit applications is March 2. Applications are available on the Scholarship Program Webpage at aloha.pga.com or by calling the section at 593-2230.
