Search called off at Makapu'u

Fire officials tonight called off a search for a man reported missing off Makapu'u Beach.Police and fire officers searched for several hours for the man who had been reported missing about 5 p.m. by a caller to police.
The search may be resumed later if necessary, a Fire Department spokesman said.
