Goldman Sachs cuts its holdings of Longs Drugs shares

Goldman Sachs Asset Management L.P. has cut its holdings in Longs Drug Stores Corp. to 6.2 percent from the 8.3 percent of shares it previously held, according to a filing at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.The investor has been one of Longs Drug's biggest shareholders, Bloomberg L.P. data shows. Walnut Creek, Calif.-based Longs Drugs is the biggest operator of drug stores in Hawai'i.
