Ehime Maru anniversary ceremony today in Kaka'ako

The Ehime Maru Memorial Association is holding its anniversary memorial ceremony at 1:30 p.m. today in honor of the Japanese fishing vessel that was hit by a surfacing U.S. Navy submarine on Feb. 9, 2001.Nine of the 35 people aboard the Ehime Maru died in the collision.
Today's ceremony will be held at the Ehime Maru Memorial at Kaka'ako Waterfront Park.
