Snorkeler drowns at Ko Olina

A 28-year-old man died while snorkeling near Ko Olina Resort today, police said.The man was found face down in the water about 5 p.m. and brought to shore by other beachgoers, who attempted to revive him. There are no lifeguards in the area, according to Emergency Medical Services officials.
The victim was pronounced dead at Hawai'i Medical Center West, police said.
