2006 Las Vegas gambling revenue up 10% to $10.6B

Las Vegas Strip gambling revenue increased 11 percent in 2006 to $6.69 billion, a record for the largest casino market in the U.S.Gambling revenue for all of Clark County, Nev., which
includes the Las Vegas Strip as well as downtown and suburban
casinos, was $10.6 billion, a 9.5 percent increase over last
year, the Nevada Gaming Control Board said today in a statement.
