TONIGHT'S MUST-SEE

"Monk," 9 p.m., USA Network. Occasionally, this fine series uses an extra resource: Brooke Adams, the wife of star Tony Shalhoub, is available for duty. Adams has been a talented actress since childhood. With two teen daughters, she has slowed down her career lately, but this is her third "Monk" character. Lt. Disher inherits a farm. He soon suspects that his uncle was murdered. Monk will investigate. That puts Monk out of his element, as usual. He's a tidy guy in a world where dirt is good and manure is better. Adams plays the local sheriff and Ricardo Chavira (Carlos on "Desperate Housewives") plays a neighbor.

"1 vs 100," 7 p.m., NBC. Here's a fresh twist: The 100 "mob" members face each other, with the winner getting $250,000. And this mob is stacked. There's five-time "Jeopardy" champ Brad Rutter and all-time champ Ken Jennings. There are "Millionaire" players Nancy Christy and Kevin Olmstead and poker player Annie Duke, plus rocket scientists, Ivy League grads and a drag queen.

"Grey's Anatomy," 7 p.m., ABC. Here's a rerun of Thursday's episode, launching a three-week story in which the interns face a mass medical disaster.

"Ghost Whisperer," 7 p.m., CBS. Are the ghosts getting testier lately? Last week, a dead race-driver wanted revenge on his girlfriend. Now a dead cheerleader wants revenge on the whole squad. Mary J. Blige plays the coach.

"Close to Home," 8 p.m., CBS. A college freshman is being charged with robbing a bank, allegedly because of a gambling habit.

"Las Vegas," 8 p.m., NBC. Some of us are still bummed about Edgar being killed last season on "24." Now the actor who played him, Louis Lombardi, guests on this show, making an indecent offer to Sam. Meanwhile, everyone is busy trying to find a mummy that was apparently stolen before it got to the casino.

"Brothers & Sisters," 8 p.m., ABC. This reruns the episode from 12 days ago. Nora (Sally Field) is nearing her 60th birthday, but everyone botches the party. That includes her mother, played by Marion Ross of "Happy Days."

"Numb3rs," 9 p.m., CBS. The remains of a policeman, missing since 1990, are found in a vacant lot. Don investigates.

"Law & Order," 9 p.m., NBC. A clergyman who speaks against homosexuality is suspected of killing someone to keep secret his own gay affairs.
