Big Island's 'Most Wanted' show debuts today

Advertiser Staff

Life gets a bit tougher today for criminals who are on the run on the Big Island or elsewhere when the Hawai'i County Police Department debuts its new television program, "Hawaii Island's Most Wanted," on public-access cable television.

The show's host, police Maj. Jay Enanoria, asks for the public's help in locating individuals wanted by the Hawai'i Police Department. The program is patterned after the national TV show "America's Most Wanted."

"Hawaii's Most Wanted" will air on Oceanic Time Warner Cable's public access channel 54 at 5p.m. on Sundays and 5:30 p.m. Fridays. It will also air intermittently on channel 53.

"Hawaii Island's Most Wanted" is a project of Crime Stoppers Hilo Inc., a partnership of the business community, the media and the police department.
