100-year-old man injured in car wreck dies

A 100-year-old man who was hurt in a traffic accident last week has died, police said.The man, whose name was not released, was a passenger in a station wagon driven by his 82-year-old wife when their car struck a tree on Dole Street near the Kanewai Park entrance.
Police said the death is the 11th traffic fatality of the year on O'ahu, compared with nine at this time in 2006.
