Weather: More of the same sunny and cool
Advertiser Staff
A high-pressure system northeast of the state will continue to fuel moderate trade winds along with the rather dry and cool weather into tomorrow, according to the National Weather Service.
The winds will gradually shift, blowing out of the east-southeast on Tuesday as the high pressure system moves farther northeast and a weak front approaches the islands from the northwest.
Showers will favor mainly windward and mountain areas through the middle of the week, forecasters said.
The rain may increase a bit by Thursday, when the front is expected to stall just north of Kaua'i.
