Free lecture at UH on post-9/11 Afghanistan, Iraq

Dr. Alam M. Paynid, a professor of political science and the director of the Middle East Studies Center at The Ohio State University, is giving a free lecture, "Afghanistan and Iraq in the Post 9/11 Period: Achievements, Challenges & Failures," today to the public.The lecture will be from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the University of Hawai'i-Manoa in the Center for Korean Studies on East-West Road.
The event is being sponsored by the Center for Southeast Asian Studies, Council for Muslim Asia and Department of Political Science.
