Surfing rookies have till Thursday before swell arrives

Advertiser Staff

Fans of big surf will have to wait until at least Thursday to see surf near the warning threshold when a new northwest swell is due in, the National Weather Service said.

Today's surf report calls for surf 8 feet to 10 feet along northern shores and 4 feet to 7 feet on western shores.

Eastern shores will see surf 2 feet to 4 feet and southern shores will see surf 1 foot to 3 feet.
