Arizona 16-year-old qualifies for LPGA's SBS Open

Sixteen-year-old Taylore Karle of Scottsdale, Ariz., and Linda Wessberg of Sweden earned the two qualifying spots for this week's SBS Open at Turtle Bay.Karle shot a 71 and Wessberg, an LPGA rookie last year, shot 72.
Hawai'i's Ayaka Kaneko of Sacred Hearts Academy shot 75.
Meanwhile, Tadd Fujikawa, 16, who won the Hawai'i Pearl Open on Sunday with a birdie on the final hole, will play in Wednesday's pro-am.
Karle also is expected to be in the pro-am.
