Pedestrian hit near Beretania Street, Pali Highway

In a third pedestrian accident this morning, a woman struck by a vehicle shortly after 8:30 a.m. near Beretania Street and Pali Highway, was transported to Kuakini Hospital while in stable condition, officials said.

Another pedestrian accident occurred at about 8:20 a.m. when a 40-year-old woman was hit by a vehicle near Waiakamilo Road and Kalani Street in the Kapalama area, officials said. She was transported to The Queen's Medical Center where she is listed in serious condition, said Bryan Cheplic, spokesman for Honolulu Emergency Services Department.

The other accident has closed King Street between Liliha Street and Pua Lane.

The accident occurred around 5:35 a.m. A 75-year-old man was taken to The Queen's Medical Center in serious condition. His condition was later downgraded to critical.
