Autopsy, services set for Punahou's Johnson

An autopsy has been scheduled tomorrow for Punahou School teacher Jeremiah Johnson, 36, who was found unconscious Sunday in waters off of Lana'i's Kaunolu Bay during a student oceanography expedition.

Services also have been scheduled for 6 p.m. Thursday at Punahou School Chapel. Aloha attire is requested.

Johnson was raised in Hanalei, Kaua'i, and became a popular science teacher at Punahou. He was an avid surfer and ultimate Frisbee player.

Johnson is survived by his wife, Sara, and daughter, Kirra; father, Steve; mother, Sandy; sister, Lara; grandmother, Nora and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and in-laws.
