Candidates for UH chancellor's post slated for visits

Four candidates vying for the University of Hawai'i at Manoa's chancellor position will be visiting the campus between Feb. 20 and March 2, the school announced yesterday.

The candidates and their visit dates:

  • Reed W. Dasenbrock, provost and executive vice president for academic affairs, University of New Mexico. Feb. 26 and 27.

  • Yash P. Gupta, professor and former dean and Robert R. Dockson chair, Marshall School of Business, University of Southern California. Feb. 22 and 23.

  • Virginia S. Hinshaw, provost and executive vice chancellor, University of California Davis. March 1 and 2.

  • Carol Tomlinson-Keasey, professor and former chancellor, University of California Merced. Feb. 20 and 21.

    The school will announce opportunities to meet the candidates.
