Memorial services set for Sunday for slain deputy

Memorial services have been set for Daniel Browne-Sanchez, a state deputy sheriff shot and killed Saturday during a robbery at a Honolulu lounge.

Visitation is set for 10 a.m. at Borthwick Mortuary on Sunday with services to follow at noon.

Immediately following the service, the sheriff's department will conduct a pass and review in front of the State Capitol.

Beretania Street will be closed in front of the Capitol during the pass and review.

Browne-Sanchez was shot three times during a robbery at Osake Sushi Bar and Lounge.

Police arrested John Koa Lorenzo Jr., 32, in connection with the fatal shooting and robbery.
