Feng shui workshops raise $11K for rehab hospital

Advertiser Staff

Two feng shui workshops at the Rehabilitation Hospital of the Pacific last month raised $11,000 for the hospital.

Peter Lung of the World of Feng Shui presented two workshops on Jan. 27 to raise money for the rehab hospital.

It was the third year that proceeds from these workshops have benefited REHAB.

In a news release, Joanie Lung, who assisted her husband with the workshops, said, "We are happy to support REHAB Hospital because it helps people of all ages and walks of life."

Rehabilitation Hospital of the Pacific is the only acute care medical rehabilitation organization serving both Hawai'i and the Pacific.

For more than 52 years, the hospital and its seven outpatient clinics on O'ahu, Maui and Hawai'i have provided comprehensive, cost-effective rehabilitation.

Each year, the organization treats nearly 8,000 patients recovering from strokes, brain injury, spinal cord injury, orthopedic injuries, sports injuries and those individuals requiring general rehabilitation.
