Hearing in Hilo on Young Brothers' rate-hike request

The Public Utilities Commission is hosting a public hearing at 5:30 p.m. today on the Big Island relating to the application of Young Brothers, Ltd.'s request for a rate increase.Young Brothers filed Dec. 15, 2006, for approval of a general rate increase, rate restructuring, fuel price adjustment clause and other tariff changes.
The meeting is at Hilo High School cafeteria, 556 Waianuenue Ave.
