Small Valentine's Day surf will give way to large swell

Surf 3 feet to 5 feet is expected on the North Shore for Valentine's Day, but the National Weather Service said a large west-northwest swell tomorrow will produce surf near the warning threshold.The rest of today's surf forecast calls for 1- to 3-footers on the west shores, southern shores to see surf 3 feet or less and eastern shores to see surf 1 foot to 3 feet.
