Woman, 43, injured in fall from car in Makapu'u area

A 43-year-old woman was injured this morning after falling out of a moving vehicle on Kalaniana'ole Highway.The accident occurred at about 7:45 a.m. in the area between Sea Life Park and the Makapu'u Lookout area. Honolulu Emergency Services Department officials transported the woman to The Queen's Medical Center where she is now listed in serious condition, said EMS spokesman Bryan Cheplic.
