Sunshine will be brief today as showers head our way

Sunny skies are in the morning forecast, the National Weather Service said, but it will turn partly cloudy by this afternoon with a 50 percent chance of rain.

Today: Sunny in the morning, then partly sunny with scattered showers in the afternoon. Highs 71 to 79. Southeast winds around 10 mph. Chance of rain 50 percent.

Tonight: Mostly cloudy with scattered showers. Lows 60 to 67. East winds around 10 mph. Chance of rain 50 percent.

Tomorrow: Partly sunny with scattered showers. Highs 71 to 78. East winds 10 mph to 15 mph with higher gusts. Chance of rain 50 percent.
