Horner, Kane among winners of business leader awards

The Hawai'i Institute for Public Affairs has announced the five recipients of this year's Hooulu Leadership Awards.

The organization annually honors leaders from business, government, labor and the culture and the arts for their work to shape public policy and public affairs. This year's winners will be recognized at a banquet Feb. 22 at the Hilton Hawaiian Village.

This year's recipients are:

i Donald Horner, president and chief executive officer of First Hawaiian Bank.

i Micah Kane, director of the state Department of Hawaiian Home Lands.

i Ted Tsukiyama, an attorney and mediator.

i Carol McNamee, founder of Mothers Against Drunk Driving, Hawai'i chapter.

i Tom Coffman, writer, film director and producer.
