Sumo wrestlers to talk story at Wai'anae High School

Advertiser Staff

Wai'anae students are in for a rare treat today when Hawai'i's retired sumo wrestlers visit the high school for an informal talk story session with Japanese-language students.

Retired sumo wrestlers yokozuna Musashimaru and Konishiki visit Musashimaru's alma mater at 11:15 a.m.

Musashimaru is also scheduled to visit Hawaii's Plantation Village with state lawmakers to inspect the village's sumo ring. That visit is slated for 2 p.m.
