Crusaders, Warriors gain ILH D-I final

Solomona Aigamaua scored 17 points and Geordon Hanohano added 12 to lead Saint Louis to a 79-57 victory over Maryknoll last night in the semifinals of the Interscholastic League of Honolulu Division I tournament at Kamehameha's Kekuhaopi'o Gym.

Saint Louis (10-3) will play Kamehameha (7-6) tonight at 6 at McCabe Gym. The winner will play Konawaena, of the Big Island Interscholastic Federation, at 3 p.m. Saturday at Kealakehe for a state tournament berth.

P.J. Wood scored 22 points, Samson Aina 16 and Darrin Kamealoha 15, and the top-seeded Royals broke away in the second half to advance to the final of the ILH Division II tournament.

The Royals will take on Academy of the Pacific today at 4:30 p.m. at Damien. The winner earns the ILH's third berth in the Division II state tournament.
