High-surf warning downgraded to advisory

A high-surf warning that's in effect for northern and western shores until 4 a.m. will be downgraded to an advisory until 4 p.m. today, the National Weather Service said.Surf up to 25 feet was hitting the North Shore overnight, but is subsiding to 15 feet to 20 feet.
Surf along west shores will be 8 feet to 15 feet, while southern shores will see surf 3 feet or less and eastern shores will see surf 3 feet to 5 feet.
